THROUGH OUR YEARS
Through all our fears
growing up were the toughest years
in those years little went right
we worked hard day and night
when the holidays grew near
we waited for santa to bring us cheer
others had no such luck
we waited for the salavation
army truck
as the years went by
the time came for all of us to cry
a terrible thing had been done
but we all joined hands and became one
off to war we all went
only God knew were we would be sent
many loved ones never returned
but we carried on though
our hearts yearned
today as we reach our golden years
we look back and remember our fears
it is a time we will never forget
and with Gods help may we never forget
